This week we had our much-anticipated trip to the Howick Historical Village. We all enjoyed the new things we learned, and the weather was so fantastic!
We had activities in the morning, involving learning about helpful herbs, finding out what school was like in the 1850s, we did some baking of scones, and a scavenger hunt around the village to try and spot items that weren't from 1850. In the afternoon, we had time to meander around the village and investigate the cottages and find out more about the olden days.
Thanks again to the fantastic parent helpers who came along - it's always great to have so many parents keen to help out!
